Emmerich Knoll III is a passionate advocate for the Wachau region and its wines. The Knoll family has been farming their 15 hectares of land for generations, and they have a deep understanding of the Unterloiben terroir. This terroir is renowned for producing some of Austria's most celebrated wines, and the Knolls' vineyards are planted with a variety of grape varietals that are perfectly suited to the soil and climate. Gruner Veltliner and Riesling are the stars of the show, but the Knolls also produce small amounts of Rivaner, Gelber Traminer, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These wines express the unique character of the Unterloiben terroir, and they are a testament to the skill of the Knoll family.
