97% Sangiovese and 3% Canaiolo aged in Barriques for 20 months. From the Chianti Classico region of Italy.

Why we like it:

San Giusto a Rentennano is a funny winery in North America. They fall into an interesting category as they are incredibly sought after in Europe but are relatively new to Ontario. As a wine professional you get to taste the wines and see how beautiful they are and champion the wines. You also know that it's a matter of time until they blow up and everyone realizes how incredible they are and they become impossible to get access to. In the meantime we get to enjoy these beautiful wines and this Riserva is a stunning wine that over delivers.
