2019 Domaine de Villaine Rully 1er Cru "Les Champs Cloux"

What it is:

100% Pinot Noir aged in old Oak barrels. From the Premier Cru vineyard "Les Champs Cloux" in the village of Rully in the Burgundy region of France.

Why we like it: 

Domaine de Villaine is one of our favourite Domaines. It was started by Aubert de Villaine to create wines near their home in the Côte Chalonnaise. The winemaking and viticulture has always been stellar and the wines have been a well kept secret. They are some of the most intriguing, elegant and delicious Burgundy wines available. This is part of their recent expansion into Rully as a Domaine that they were managing the vines for became available for purchase. This is a great wine that we can't recommend enough.
